Leather washers don't mar surfaces and they resist wear from surfaces that chafe or abrade. Use them dampen vibration, silence squeaks, and cushion bolted joints.

Leather washers are perfect for protecting painted or powdered parts of your bike. They're more durable than rubber, and resist the distortion that clamping loads can cause.

The cushioning and dampening these washers provide is useful in some common motorcycle scenarios. You can use these to help protect the mounting tabs found on gas tanks, fenders, oil tanks, and seats from vibration.  They're also great for use under solo seat springs to prevent squeaking.
