This master cylinder is an excellent choice for many scenarios, be it repair of an older bike with poor parts availability, a ground-up custom, or a radically altered stock bike. The black finish and neutral styling blend in with many types of motorcycle, stock or custom, metric or domestic. The 14mm bore size is nearly identical to 9/16" units, so this master cylinder is hydraulically suitable for many machines, and the availability for both common handlebar diameters makes this a very flexible brake component mechanically, too.
